Fascinator Workshop
Time & Location
About the Event
As lockdown restrictions ease, I am gauging interest in workshops again. If you are interested in attending this workshop, please contact me through the website. I can then get in touch with suitable dates.
Create your very own fascinator in this one day workshop with Kerry Kernan Millinery.
You will learn lots of techniques using sinamay, a fantastic material used in millinery and available in lots of colours, as well as veiling, beads, wire, feathers and crinoline.
You will learn how to make different flowers such as roses and lilies as well as loops, bows and leaves. These can then be used to adorn your fascinator base and can be added to with feathers, wire, and beads to make your own bespoke creation.
Completely suitable for beginners - no experience necessary. If you would like to make a fascinator for a special occasion in a particular colour, let me know at least 7 days in advance and I can make sure I have the right colours in stock.
Dates:
I offer a variety of dates for my workshops, both week day and weekends. Please see tickets for dates.
All dates have a start time of 10.30 and an end time of 4.00. This can also be offered as a half day workshop.
If you are interested in this workshop but cannot make these dates, please get in touch and I will happily work with you to find a suitable date.
If you are travelling some distance, I have an arrangement with the Bank House Hotel which is two minutes from my studio. This allows any workshop student a discount off B&B or D,B&B rates. Contact me when booking and I can provide the discount code.
If you are interested in booking a workshop as a celebration, the Bank House and myself offer a package deal for 4 or more people including a workshop and spa package, along with accommodation. Please get in touch for further details.
